A TTY – short for teletypewriter or text telephone – is a simple communications device that connects to any standard phone line. A keyboard and screen make message exchange effortless.

Just give the Communication Assistant (CA) the number you want to call. After the CA connects your call, begin typing your message. The CA will read your message to the person on the other end, then type the reply to you.

IP Relay Service

IP Relay lets you stay connected 24/7 no matter where you are. Enjoy free domestic relay calls over the Internet. Communicate with anyone who uses relay or a standard phone.

Connect to a Communication Assistant (CA) and type outgoing messages using your computer keyboard. Read incoming messages on your computer screen.
