Overview
NOTICE: IP Relay Will Be Discontinued March 31, 2009
Please be advised that this service is being phased out and will no longer be available after March 31, 2009. AT&T recommends using our new Instant Message Relay Service, which provides many new features.
IP Relay, or Internet Relay, works over the Internet to make relay calls possible without a TTY. Instead, you can connect to a Communication Assistant and communicate by typing outgoing messages on your computer keyboard and reading incoming messages on your monitor.
Why IP Relay?
Because IP Relay is an online service, it offers several advantages that TTY Relay cannot, including:
- Larger text display area
- Adjustable text sizes and colors for easier reading
- Split-screen mode to separate your text from the text typed by the CA.
